Looks like it will need a CAI similar to the G8....don't know about an OTR style, doesn't look like much room, between the front-end and the radiator.

I just wanted to extend my hearfelt thanks to Heather and Number3 for posting up all of this great info. I can't imagine how great its been to spend the last week running around in these awesome cars. Now time for some questions..

On the 1SS that Heather is testing...I keep reading that people are mention ing bluetooth. My impression was that bluetooth (and USB connectivity) were part of the Convenience and connectivity package, which to my understanding is not available on a 1SS car. I'm pretty sure I'm right about this, so perhaps the mentions of bluetooth were in referece to Number3's V6 car.

The reason I ask is that like so many others, I can't decide whether to order a 1SS or 2SS. Leather is'nt such a huge deal...the soon to be wife wants it, but I'm impartial. What I really want is the 4 pack gauges and the C&C package. I'm not overly concerned about the Leather or the ambient lighting.

At any rate, looking at these posts makes me want to go order ANY camaro! Job well done my friends!

And LS1st gen - if your ever up in Dallas, let me know - I'd love to get a look at that sweet '67 of yours.

Thanks for the thumbsup...but I have to inform you that the '67 is kind of at a crossroads...what once looked like this:

now looks like this:

Long story short, after a fender bender I started taking the car down with a full resto in mind. During the process I've found so much structural rust that I'm not sure whether I will continue with it or find a better shell to start with.

67 was beautiful...

Heather,

that 5th gen is looks awesome. I'll see if I can track down a nice 1st gen for when you guys visit Miami if you do. Maybe I can track down a 1st gen and take some 5th gen shots and 1st gen together. Let me know if you like that idea.

I have been addicted to this sight for the last 6 to 8 months and finally decided to join. I have been to Marco Island almost every Xmas for the last 30yrs. I didn't go this year and my nephew is there and of course saw this beautiful car in person. I am so JEALOUS. Thank everyone for all the great info and pics.
