First trip to the strip with my 2011 SS M6 :-)

Well I went up to our local Friday night drags tonight and ran my SS for the first time. It was only my second time (legally) drag racing ever and first time racing a stick up there. I figured being in the Rockies a couple hrs from Denver mid 14's would be my goal and I'd be happy with that seeings how most say they run in the 13's at sea level with some sub 13 hero runs.

I only used launch control on my very last run as a kind "what the hell" deal and ended up getting my fastest time of the night of 14 flat. Here's my time slip from that race.i was fortunate enough to race a cammed 05 mustang gt with headers and beat him by over a full second but the funnest part was racing an identical car just a 2010 M6 LS3 in yellow :-) it was actually the guys wife's car that they'd had for only 2 weeks but he couldn't resist after seeing mine run 😜 here's the vid of that race http://youtu.be/pQA89R66LK4 he claimed he missed 2nd but he was consistently running high 15's so it was just driver error I guess, here's my time slip for that racesorry they came out sideways 😐 had a lot of fun though and had a slowest time of 14.26 so not terribly inconsistent

Careful, it can get addicting. Then quest for the next power adder starts. :-)

Nice!!! Just be very careful with the wheel hop. Very easy to break one of your axles that way.

It was my last run of the night and I just wanted to see if it would work without sucking my clutch pedal to the floor again 😜 it was the only time I seriously thought my car might break though lmao
