2011 2SS fuse block issue?
After about 50 or so miles on my camaro, check engine light pops up.Brought it to the dealer and they ordered a new fuse block. Today i went back to get the new fuse block installed and i got my car back with no check engine light. When i got home the check engine light came back on and now im back to the same problem. Is anyone else having any electrical problems, or similar issue to mine lmk trying to get this light off but the dealer doesnt seem to know much...

Yes the plastic molding was not good on my fuse block.....where connecters would not have a good connection. The heated seats would not work. The new fuse block was put in and the problem was solved. There was some sort of information memo that the dealer found on the badly molded plastic block. I have not had a problem again.
I have a 2010.

This is a 2SS-exclusive issue?

I don't think this is a 2SS issue only. These fuse blocks are (generic). Either not enough plastic in the mold, the heat wasn't high enough or the vacuum wasn't strong enough in the molding stage. A supplier makes them and something happen to make a bad molding and poor electrical connection.

@ Chevrolet Customer Svc - Not yet I think im going to try the low octane fuel fix for the L99 (pull #5 & 20 15 amp fuses) see if that works.

To BIG L/2SS, So far, I have not used the pembrooke in a while. I had one oil change there and that was it.
I am thinking of Miami-Lakes or Tropical. I need to go by Miami-Lakes dealership and see if the Tech that worked on my 92 camaro (long-long time ago ) is still there. That guy was a camaro guy and I believed in him to an honest person. |
