The lights are in but not wired up to the controller yet. Spouse aka mechanic is out of town for work..hopefully next weekend! Wondering if we will get away with running reds around here. The other car we ran orange unless we had it in show mode running all the colors (parked of course...). The red will go great with the 45th stripe though.

I think you're dead on! Should be a great compliment to the red stripe! I'm trying to add red accents here and there too. Example (red bowtie valve stem):




I'm doing red calipers next, and considering a red pinstripe on the rims.

hightower u make me wanna powdercoat my rims black like urs and not buy some black rims they look very good.
yea i think u should color of red ur brake calipers too, to give the red stripe some matching on the tires, i will prob. do mine like that too when i got time to take it to the shop where i bring mine, i think some red on the rim will do it too but not so much, i m thinking maybe coloring the thing that comes out the spoke in the side of red (sorry dont know well how to put that in proper words ) but maybe its too hard to do, gotta ask.

Go for it! It'll be wayyyyyyyy cheaper than dropping $2,000 on a set of new rims. Maybe even pricier to get them in Italy, I guess you might know more about that.

And yeah I know what you're talking about with the red on the rim. Like on the very front face, the raised part of the spokes. That sounds really cool!

Just picked up my new 2ss 45th last Thursday. Gotta tell you I've never had a car like this and I'm absolutely loving every second of it!

While we had the front end off we put in the new heritage grille as well. Next is to wire up the halos & etc. Just not today.

that grill looks awsome now to get rid of the 35 lb mufflers in the back

hey your his and hers is the same as mine i dont have a vert but is that an Avalanche i see

put a thin red stripe around the very outside of the wheel and bam lose the red cap for a grey one the wheels are awsome how much was that id prolly have to ship mine somewhere to get that done

You can order pinstripes for wheels that are vinyl off ebay. No word on the quality, which I'm sure varies, but that's what I plan to do.


The caps you will have to paint.

Yep! I drove a 2005 Avalanche before my camaro.

I love those Halos! But I know it's something my dad wouldn't like.
