R/T vs SS Throwdown Feedback Wanted - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hello everyone! I'm new here and this is one of my first posts. I operate the 1/8th mile dragstrip at E-Town and would like your input on an event that I am scheduling for Sunday, November 1st 2009.
The basic idea is a Mopar R/T and SRT VS Chevy SS Camaro throwdown. This is to be a very uncomplicated day of fun runs and grudge runs. Some friendly competition between rivals
What do you think? would you come out for something like this?
Just late model Mopars, Chevys, and maybe some GTOs. No imports, bikes, jr dragsters, or Fords!

I never knew Etown even operated an 1/8 mile track. Is it the 1/4 mile track with the lights moved? Wierd.

No, its a completely separate, and fully equipped race track with Compulink timing system and its been there for over ten years!

There are plenty of opportunities to run on the 1/4 mile strip, however, that Sunday will be imports only on the 1320. If we get a decent turnout, you can be assured of a similar event on the 1/4 mile next season.
