Fun times in my fifth gen

It seems like everyday this new Camaro makes me chuckle. If its not all the thumbs up going around town its the powering thru a corner. What a amazing ride....
Never thought I would have the same thrill of driving in a 2013 as my 1969 pro-touring Camaro.

Today my wife and I just couldn't help but laugh when I set off a car alarm just by starting it up in the parking lot at Mystic Aquarium.

Does your ride still make you smile from eat to ear?

Absolutely! Just the other day, had a guy in an SUV on 84 roll down his window, give a thumbs up and yell "nice car man!"

Just ran to the local dealership at lunch to pick up some stuff I left in my old truck and had two different cars at two different sets of lights say "Nice car". One was a bunch of young ladies. I was laughing to myself but I can imagine the "old man" or "grandpa" comments. They were in an old beat up Celica and she was revving me. LOL. I said you wanna race? She said yes, but let me go get the old Chevelle. I gave HER the thumbs up.

I got another one today. Pulled into the park and Rec dept which is attached to police department. I pull in after a officer. I turned around before walking in and saw him bolt to my car. Went back to make sure I didn't double park. He starts our long conversation off with "man this is bad a** car"

I got my first gen when I was 15. I learned how to drive in it and my grandfather and I learned body work on it I love this car and can't wait to be able to get it back on the road. I stopped working on it when we had my son. He has a few development delays so I chosen to put it on hold till he is back on track. These are some pics 4 years ago.

Nice looking Camaro. Did it ever run with the 2004 LS in it?

What made that car pro-touring when you had it on the road?

Hopefully everything gets better for your son and your family, so you get the chance to put that beautiful classic back on the road. Until then keep being the good dad and take care of the more important things in your life.
