Brandon,

Thanks for your help. My vin is 2g1fb3dd0b9205371
I dropped the car off this morning at my service department and they said they would take a look at it to see if they could find the problem. We'll see what happens.

I have checked your VIN and per my resources, I am showing an open customer satisfaction program titled "CONVERTIBLE TOP ENHANCEMENTS" #12052 available to you.

Your dealership should be able to address this issue.

Well you did just ask for pic lol.. Anyhow, I have not done the grease trick yet. It notes above to put in on the bumper where 5th bow is at. Im guessing once you open up the headliner you will see that. I took my car in for the above mention "customer satisfaction" deal. Im some what sastisfied with it, it is less squeaky. But I still do on occasion get noise but nothing like before. BTW the wheels on the pic are wheels I may get for my vert

If you lower the top just slightly you will see that when to top is fully raised the 5th bow comes up and stops against a rubber bumper on each side. The bumpers rest in brackets on the bow. The squeak I had was those rubber bumpers rubbing against the brackets when the top would shift. To verify that was the source I put a tiny bit of silicone grease on the ends of the bumpers and the squeak disappeared and never came back. Give it a try

John, you are the man
I put some weather stripping on the 2 metal pieces, where the bumpers are hitting the 5th bow and the squeaking has gone !!!!

Bumping for more reaction, info, pics, and a possible TSB number.

I'll try and figure out where you guys are applying grease and/or weather stripping one day soon.

Thanks CooG!

It started squeaking with the top down also. I have noticed the drivers side arm is a bit looser than the passenger side. I'm thinking one of the junction points on the frame is getting loose. I'll take it apart later today to figure it out.

Mine only squeaks with the top down. Just the driver side...drives me insane! I can simulate it by moving the arm that meets the windshield but no luck eliminating it yet. Let me know what you find Intensifi

Wow I have not noticed any noise with top down. I have been trouble free so far since last recall job. But I will keep an eye on it.

Found it! A little shot of WD-40 and all is good! Just needed to spend a few minutes investigating.
