Replacement Rotors
I have a 2011 Camaro SS that I want to replace the stock rotors with Baer Decelarotor rotors. Anybody done this? Any issues?

http://www.rickscamaros.com/camaro-r...2010-2012.html I also looked into the ebay ones but I don't know if I want to trust them yet. Some of them are budget friendly and look nice, but don't know about performance: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Premium-Perf...ab495f&vxp=mtr Or other ones I found on ebay.

Have you considered the Brembo slotted rotors from Tirerack? There just a bit more than what your looking at.

Brake Performance makes some nice rotors available in different finishes.

It is a black zinc coating. It comes off only where the pad contacts the rotor. The rest of the rotor maintains the nice black finish. These look a lot better that the stock rotors with rusty edges and hub hats.

Those look nice, I understand the wear-color change and that's not an issue for me. I just want reliable ones. (Sorry to hijack your thread op)

I looked at the Bembo and they're also cool. For VAbdul, a place call Ohio speed has the Baer for 269 front and 269 back http://ohio-speed.com/c-1337-baer.aspx
I'll probably end up with the Baer. The speed shop that installed my supercharger, headers, exhaust likes the Baer |

I'm in tHe same boat as the OP. I'm between the Brembo rotors and the Baer rotors. In experience or installed pictures with either rotor would be appreciated.

Baer is a good choice. I had Eradispeed +1 rotors on my Sierra and they significantly improved its braking distance.

R1 concepts have some nice ones about the same price for the Premium Drilled and Slotted. I have seen a bunch of poeple on C5 comment on them. Have not seen anything negative. They may even have special pricing if you look in the Vendor thread section.

I too and looking for some rotors. I had pretty much settled on the cross drilled Brembo Sport rotors. Can I ask which pads you guys run with these?

+1 on this I personally don't have any R1 rotors but have friends and my brother installed it to their cars and it works wonders and its not that expensive too.

I did some looking today at the R1 Concept, Baer, and Brembo. I settled on the Baer DecelaRotors and Hawk HPS pads. Got them from AutoAnything with free FedEx Ground shipping and I got an extra 15% off for being a first time customer. I ended up getting rotors and pads for $676 delivered.
Next thing on the list is sway bars and chassis bracing. |
