Thanks for everyones input. With that I ordered my new daily driver today. A 2014 Camaro 2LT, V6, Auto, RS package, MyLink Nav, Summit White with Blue Leather and the Blue Accent package to compliment my 2011 SS and 1981 Z28. Clock is ticking and I should have it in 6 weeks! No plans to mod .....yet! Stay tuned!

That is awesome! Curious what the wife said.....lol.

It's a little late but I was looking at my mpg a little closer and it appears I do get around 24 on highway. I think Evil Bee is right in that the LT's use more gas because I have never seen the 30's.

That's cool, still will work out better than the 15 I'm getting on the Denali. So I'll be driving the new Camaro primarily during the spring, summer and fall, the '11 SS on cruise nights, car shows and "just for fun" and the Denali during the winter or "family" stuff.

Funny, the wife took the news better than I thought. Her only comment was "we're not having 4 cars sitting in the @#^&!**&& driveway, so you better figure out what to do". LOL! Looks like I'm going to use the garage at work to store one of them.

It's the gearing solely and only in my experience. Of course i can avg. 24 aswell if i was to drive normally on the highway but whats the fun in that?

Glad to see you bought the Camaro. CONGRATS. Let the MOD bug bite you hard and start doing it. Oh and here is one of my many spread sheet screen shots that I have posted in other threads showing my mileage.

These were all on the way into work in the morning setting the cruise for 25 miles. Resetting the DIC.

Nice IPF supercharger and get the performance of an oem SS and still get the same gas mileage as the NA V6.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it. I like the numbers you show, hopefully I'll get some MPG's around those as well. We'll see how many mods I do. Still have more I want to do for the '11 SS and I sill have the '81 Z28 to "bring back to life".

you're welcome. This mornings numbers 32.3 mpg.

I re-read your posts, just now relized you have an SS too.......

Cool that you are looking for a MPG and going with a CAMARO, best of both worlds. Keep this one stock since you have the SS. Dump the $$ into that one and bring back the 81 Z28. .......

good luck......

Wow, 32.5 MPG this morning, excellent. Should have the new Camaro the end of June and we'll see how it does. Stay tuned for the next set of mod's for the SS. The stock interior needs to be reworked as it's "boring" and I already have a new 1000 hp clutch to install along with new suspension pieces. Should be a fun summer.

Bad news/Good news. Bad news, found out yesterday Chevrolet closed down the 14 Camaro line in early May so I won't be getting the 14 I ordered. . Good news is I'll be getting a 15 just they way I want it ! The scheduled build date is June 6th so stay tuned .

I'm still trying to get the info from the dealer . I went on the Chevrolet site and the Camaro build still lists the 14 but not the 15 although there are a lot more performance options listed then there was a month go, so.....
