Camaro Tire Size Combos

Hi Everyone!

Its about that time to change all 4 tires...so I am curious..

What are some popular tire size combos you all have out there? I have a 2011 2LT RS, I think my tire sizes are 245/45/20 and 275/40/20.

I am looking to maybe go a little bit bigger, so was wondering what are some good combos you all use and are there any pros/cons? What is the best combo etc....

Thanks!

Depends on what you are looking for. I say that becasue we don't need anymore rear tire size that just creates more understeer. However, if you like the look from behind of a larger tire ( I know I do). Then you can go to a 305 or even 315 in some cases. Both of those sizes need to be on a wider wheel thou. Can it be done on a stock wheel, yes, but should it be for safety, the experts will tell you no.

Personally I went with the 275/40/20 in all 4 corners. This makes for a great handling set-up. I cna rotate from front to back still. No more understeer with my set-up and suspension.

Again all depends on what you want. I spent 18 months working on that decision.

Good Luck, Keep us posted on what you decide.
