I'll have some info for you in a few weeks... I'm not sure if I'm aloud to saythe name yet, but a major audio brand is taking my car to their factory to begin designing a "stealth" (hint, hint, hint) sub box for the verts.

I'll get it back with a complementary amp and loaded sub box... should be able to post pix and specs then. Departs Tuesday, and they said to expect a 2 week turn around...

I just put alpine SPR 17c component speakers in my convertible. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NV9O94 I used ******** door adapters for the front. In the back I cut 2" holes for the tweeter above where the the stock speaker sits and I mounted the 6 1/2" mid woofer in the steel wall behind the stock speaker.Their is a nice hole behind the stock speaker so I removed the stock one and mounted it their. the crossovers I 2 sided taped to the wall behind the speakers. Then I took the back seat out and built a custom sealed enclosure for a new Alpine sub.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003F7N93K .Then I used ********s wire harness and took out the factory amp. I used a Alpine PDX 6 four channel amp . 150 watts ch for the front and rear speakers. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003FJJROS Then I used a Alpine PDX m12 amp for the sub. 1200 watts 1ch.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003GFXYNG I ran all the wires to the trunk and mounted the amps in the back left corner. These amps are small and stackable so they fit great in the corner. I started on it last weekend. I have about 36hrs into it .All I have left to do is screw the amps down and finish adjusting it. It sounds great and its very loud. You have to take allot of stuff apart but if decide too do it I can tell you how to take it apart. I did it with no broken parts or scratches.

I just spent half the weekend building one in the stock location with 1200 watts of power. Who ever sits in my back seat is in for a real back massage.
