might just look off under those lighting conditions
Not my cup of tea but id give it a chance in outdoor conditions

You know... they make sheets of thin laminate CF! Instead of SILVER, they should have made the entire stripe kit in CF on exposed weave ZL1s.

Looks horrible, something must be wrong here i can't believe GM would release that stripe.

thus the reason i did not order a stripe.....much better in my opinion to wait and see how they look...much prefer a painted stripe!

The exposed CF hood looks amazing in real life and the grey stripe looks cheap. Overall, the car is really, really nice and screams muscle. I went to the show thinking that I was going to buy an AE car, but once I saw the ZL1 I was sold. I am trying to find an open allocation in the Toronto area, but will wait until MY 2013 if I have to

Thats is pathetic if it is truly the actual stripe. This is not "dark" grey as Fbod stated, nor is it "carbon appearance" as the RPO said. Its silver. If GM ships like this and refuses to pay to correct then here is a good website you can purchase the film and lay over the pathetic silver stripe. Funny, if you look at the antenna, it is a much darker grey than the stripe, maybe this is not the final stripe?
