Here is a pic of the carbon fiber simulated stripe that was on a Camaro at the show in Milwaukee last week. It is nowhere near the appearance of the extremely glossy hood insert, and actually has a weave-grain type texture. In my opinion, it would NOT be a good combination as a stripe package with the expose weave cabon fiber insert. I don't know if this is the same material that 3-M offers.
