I GOT MY 2012 ALLOCATION!!!!! At MSRP as well. Just wanted to say thanks to all of you guys that helped me with this. MAC1 lead me let me know about a allocation and Steve Dietsen at Joe Basil Chevy took care of me. Of course the wait starts and the anxiety that comes with it. I do have to drive to new york but its a good excuse to do a road trip.

If you don't want to do the road trip, the dealer should be able to have it drop shipped to a dealer close to you. I had another friend who could not find an allocation and got one ordered in Texas that is being sent to a dealer in Alabama, so it is easy for them to do.

I dont mind doing the trip. Its a long drive but I got a couple friends up in the area that I need to go see anyway

Thanks for your service. FBODFATHER is the one to listen to. Has connections!! If you review the threads you will find other delers who may have an open allocation also. I used www.edmunds.com and found a dealer who sold me one for MSRP. Good Luck

Cant do that! put to much work in them all. the slowest one makes just under 550 at the wheels. As well I just found out that Im heading to Korea at the end of the year for a year and she will stay back in NC so will take that time to save up some money. Who knows maybe pick up a 13' gt500 and get a real world test out of them

i talked to the guys at Hendrick Chevy in the Monroe, nc area and they said they have 3 on order for their lot and several on order for other customers. i would check with them if you havent already. they seam to be really easy to work with from my past experience with them.
