Tighten Gas Cap, troubleshooting?
So, my Camaro doesn't like the throttle controller so I took it off. But the Tighten Cap sensor comes on. Troubleshooting options? Im thinking of teflon taping the gas cap and seeing if that works.. If it fixes the problem I'm getting a new gas cap (140k mileage) Otherwise I know the whole evaporation system needs to get checked. OR I change another ignition coil again to fix the problem. I took the controller off since it kept messing stuff up. Any other options fellas?

You need to check the EVAP system....any fault in that will give the "fuel cap" message
