Where have all the VMAX LFX Ported throttle bodies gone?

So, I had my Injen Cold Air Induction kit delivered, (for my 2012 1LT V6), when I realized I should just go ahead and buy/install a Ported throttle body at the same time...... Long story short, nobody has one! (Found one new one for $225 vs $150, I'll wait)! Anybody????

That's no good, I got mine from southwest speed (try them if you haven't yet). I don't know where all you've looked but keep searching. It's well worth it! You could find a shop a to do it for you, but that's not a favorable option.

Tried Apex, JDP, BBK, Tuning Tampa and Phastek last week, all said 2 - 3 weeks. Will try Southwest today but not expecting much. I can wait but like I said, would've rather popped the hood once instead of twice, easy install regardless!

VMAX's CNC machine is being overhauled and our inventory has been wiped out while we are waiting for them to get back up and running. We already have a decent list of people waiting once they start cutting again.

It was about a month for mine, i ordered through apex, and Victoria with Apex stayed on top of the status to keep me informed. During my wait, i even contacted vmax because of my lack of patience, spoke with the man that does the process for 40 minutes on the phone. They had some major revamping that they are doing, and from what i gathered they will be back in full swing by the end of march. As tough as it is, i am happy that i waited, it really woke up the dead spots in the throttle. Apex even followed through with company and personal emails to confirm delivery and return core info. . Hang in there its worth the wait, and for the price, you get your moneys worth

I think just the opposite of you. For me waiting would be an excuse to pop the hood again. To me it relaxing when I get under the hood.

Little by little I'm starting to enjoy tinkering again since I bought my Camaro. Work/overtime, kids, house, three cars and hectic day to day schedule had me to the point where I didn't even change my own oil anymore. Now, no overtime, kids are older and I'm getting my mojo back!
......now pass me that wrench please!!!

Beware of the Pringles car mod effect. Once you pop you can't stop. :-)

I would definitely contact Apex and get on that waiting list.

They really do keep you in the loop and offer realistic waiting times.

Yeah, my absolutely very last mod was new wheels and tires. Since then I've only added caliper covers, ported tb, painted engine cover/strut tower brace, vanity license plate, and a new rearend.

To the OP: did you check if Southwest had any? If not I really think Apex would be the way to go. I've never bought anything from them but I'd swear by them just by their reputation on here alone.

Yes I checked with Southwest also! All the distributors are in the same boat and can't get any. I'll just wait as I understand that my credit card would be charged now although I won't get the part for awhile. Thanks all.
