Weekend Car Meets in NOVA?
I was up in Baltimore County all this weekend and my friend (blegh, Mustang driver) showed me a couple unofficial meeting spots. The first one was OK, kind of an older "classic" type crowed gathering in the far parking lot of a Walmart and basically sitting around in camping chairs shooting the shit. About 30 or so cars, not bad, but, meh. The second spot was last night at around 9 in a Costco parking lot. That was a free for all type meet. All kinds, hooked up diesel trucks, cycles, etc were there. Atmosphere was almost a little too crazy for me because some people were doing some seriously dangerous stuff for the congestion, but the turn out was crazy. Had to be in the neighborhood of 250-300 cars with several people in each. It was a scene straight out of fast and furious. The tuning on SOME of these cars was no joke either.
Anyone know if VA has unofficial weekend meet ups like this? It would be cool to see, but I can't imagine VA police having anything to do wtih a gathering of that size. |

Saturdays @Brusters in Stafford off 610, and the Va BBQ in Fredericksburg on Rt1 Friday Nights. Both start around 4:30 until around 9pm.

I read somewhere on here that it starts as early as 3-4 at BK. I'm going to be there around 4 if I can get the car cleaned up in time.

Well I went to BK yesterday. There were a bunch of cars there but only one other 5th gen. A black 2ss non rs with iom interior. Too bad I didn't get to meet the owner so no idea if he was a c5 member. On the upside, my car drew a pretty big crowd
