Well, my west coast trip has begun. I'm going from Texas to the Redwood National Park to Los Angeles to Vegas for a great night of boxing. This evening I'll be in Salt Lake City and in this wonderful car considered by many to be a gas guzzler, I'm holding steady at 79 mph getting 19.5 miles per gallon. Couldn't be happier! What an amazing machine.

Here are a few pics, but many more are coming. I managed to get the car up to 162 mph with both me and the wife inside and a trunk and back seat full of luggage. Her best run was 150 mph. She was a little scared. The salt was slush, so we just ran it on the open one way road to the flats.

Lot of open road on your trip, some good places to open it up a little.. I love Cresent City California and the drive down the Oregon Coast 101..I'm jealous...Have fun!!

If you are in Salt Lake you need to head north and drive through Yellowstone, see the Grand Tetons on the way, cutover to the Oregon Coast then drive down 101. Absolutely goregous. Did that a couple of summers ago.
