Pirelli Tires

Anyone have any thoughts / experience with what tires might last longer than the OEM Pirelli's (20k miles)?

That is quite the feat. Your tires must be bald as crap. That or the roads you drive on must be made of clouds

I personally changed over to all season performance tires. Nitto Motivo excellent grip for an all season tire and rated for 60k miles

You just have to run 'em so they don't leave black marks everywhere you go, and 30K-40K should be no problem.

My fronts will last about 30k miles but the rears already need replacing at 5k miles due to testing this beast's abilities.

I just bought a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I don't have them yet because I'm waiting for the wheels, but from what I've read, they are one of the best tires around right now. They don't come in the exact size as the Pirellis, but I've read they can still work with stock wheels. Downside is, they aren't cheap!

I don't think I have a boat load of choices when it's time for me to replace my 21" Pirelli tires

Eagle GT

Installed Goodyear Eagle Gt EOM size 2 weeks ago. I prefer them to P Zero's quite a lot. Smoother ride and the car just does'nt move around in those truck mark gutters on the road.

Great looks also, Name: New look 07 07 13 03.jpg

Nice wheels. Wish I could find some white letter tires. Those wheels and white letter tires would be great.

I have 10k on my and a few track days. They still look pretty good, I am not the most aggressive but I push it a decent amount. I guy a meet has 28k on his but they are on the end of their life.

Then why on earth did you buy a 400+hp car? If you want to drive around like a grandma, a Prius would do that.

OP, look in the proper section to good advice. It's conspicuously hidden in the WHEELS AND TIRE TALK section.
