10.8's every pass last night, all motor stock block video inside

D/A was +1500 to +1300 on the last pass, new personal best for the mph on the last pass at 126.9mph. I went 10.87, 10.86, 10.85 with 1.48-1.49 60 foot times, the car is very consistent, might try to go out of state in a month or 2 and see what it will do in a negative D/A. Here is a video of the 3 passes last night:

This is why I'm about to have the 3.91s in my car! Good runs. That DA is the shit! I wish TX was seeing that.

Shoot, I'm gonna be out of town... I'd love to watch that some time for sure!

I was @ one time a sprint/midget mechanic and used to travel around the mid-west open wheel racing circuit (USAC -- Salem, Winchester, Indy, etc). Our driver was Gary Bettenhausen (who passed away this year in March). He and his brother (Tony) both raced. Those were fun days. Like to see the drags though again too -- have not been to once since my 20's (yep, its been a while!).

Those of you who still can race -- enjoy it! I still enjoy watching it -- from a safer distance -- sort -of ;o)

-Don.

Very nice runs Mike! I like the consistency. That 3rd gear seemed to extend out pretty long, I couldn't hear if that was Bc of your converter locking? What converter are you running? That's a dang good pass for +1500 DA!

Sounds like the rpms hang/drop in 3rd when the converter locks.
Great runs Mike!

The second run, I believe I hear the converter lock somewhere in third, RPMs don't drop too much maybe near the top of 3rd?

Car sounds great, I am digging how the motor sounds in 1st and 2nd gear.
