I think minivans/SUVs/grocery-getters just age you. Kinda like meth or what 5 years of smoking & drinking does to you. I'm also pretty sure it sucks the life out of you too. Every guy I've seen carting his family around in a van just looks miserable. Looks like he cant wait to drive off a cliff and go out in a fiery blaze, because that would be the coolest thing he's done in years.
Just a theory based on observations.

We do NOT own a minivan but we do have family car (a 98 buick regal GS (which means its got the supercharged v6 in it)) after that we have our 99 silverado to do family & shopping trips.
My summer daily driver is my 90 Vette vert My husbands summer daily driver is his 02 vette vert (both we take to shows as well & our kids ride in) then its the camaros a 71 RS/z28 (we bought it & 3 weeks after we bought it we had to rip the engine out of it) my 87 Iroc which is being build as my dragrace car (my daughter didnt know there was another car out there since this was my daily driver when she was little) my husbands 95 Z28 (Zhawk) which is his dragracing car if we ever get it up & running again. Then the other two classics my 72 Buick skylark vert which goes to reno with us every year. & my sons (OMG HE TURNS 16 NEXT WEEK) 57 chevy flat bed pick up. NOPE no minivans here

I do have to say that my husband buys me lots of gifts for my Camaro. Today he ordered Lloyd's Floor Mats for her. He never bought anything for my Equoinix - what's up with that??

Hey I share the same love for the Camaro...I have a special additon SS Indianapolis 500 pace car...only 200 made and 40 in Canada....6spd...426hp...Inferno orange with a white stripe from the front bumper down over the back bumper.. orange and black int....Indianapolis embroidered on the head rests..My husband role tests the camaro's in General Motors everyday...I have all the build sheets on my car...It just goes out on nice days...It's my baby...what can I say we just go to car show after car show...it's not my husbands thing he's into the trucks...big one's...always had a love for spd...owning a 1970 monte Carlo with a 400 smblk..shift kit and gears...but my camaro exceeds all I have driven in the past...even a Vet from the 1975...the convertible will be the next one out...they run one through the line...everything fit perfect....Go Camaro...we love ya
