My 2nd 5th Gen Build Thread

There are those that would say I’m bit nuts, but I think there are more of you out there that find the same enjoyment behind the wheel of a Camaro and would surely understand my moment of ”insanity” as my wife puts it. I actually started thinking about this back in March, 2014 just as I completed the 3 year “rebuild” of my 2011 Camaro SS (BTRSS, COTW 5/5/14), which by the way, I’m now planning more mods for the interior but that's another story. The enjoyment I get when driving the ’11 SS left me wanting more and I found myself missing this feeling on a daily basis. I made the decision years ago the '11 SS would not be a daily driver (way too much $$$ invested in the car) so I decided to look into buying a 2014 Camaro to use as my daily driver. For this purpose the Camaro would be an automatic V6 (for good gas mileage given my commute and about 400 miles per week) with some "fun" options as shown below. Unfortunately, I placed the order too late and lost out on the ’14 but was able to place an order for a ’15 Camaro 2LT/RS. That was in May, 2014 and on Monday July 21st I picked up my newest toy! Unlike my ’11, I don’t have any plans for any "extensive" mods, but there are few that I’m moving ahead with and then we’ll see! Below I’ve listed the purchased options along with pictures and a second list with the mod's that I'm planning....for now. Enjoy!

2015 Camaro 2LT/RS, Summit White

- RS Package
· HID Headlamps with LED Halo Ring

- 20” Polished Aluminum Wheels (replacing the RS package wheels)
- Interior Accent Trim Package
· Black Interior with Blue Accents on Front & Rear Seats
· Accent Stitching on Steering Wheel, Shift Knob, Door Armrest, Center Console and Seats
- Navigation System

- Painted Caliper Covers
- Painted Engine Cover

Installed the Plasma LED Fog Lights. They look cool, but I'm a little disappointed in how they project light. Actually think the factory ones project a wider beam.

More "Minor" Mod's

License plate frames ordered from Autoanything.com. Black to blend in with the license plate mount on the front of the car and White to blend in with the rear. Nice little touch.
