Thumbs down Just an FYI avoid CARR Chevy in Beaverton!

While this may be obvious to many I thought I would post up my recent experience!

Such a crappy dealer! Had mixed experience with them before (bought a truck and Suburban previously) but they had what I felt was the right car for me.

We agreed on the price of MSRP - $500 60 day waiver. In WRITING! Then as I was making out the check the desk manager changed the price to $500 OVER MSRP! While not a rip off price, they should have honored the original deal. I mean how stupid!

this is after the salesperson drove me home to get my checkbook, wife had left with the kids, etc. So I made the salesperson drive me home! What a quiet ride home that was!

So again avoid CARR Chevy! They never cease to amaze me on ways they screw clients over!

TO BE CLEAR I DID NOT BUY THE CAR! F-M!

Did you ask to speak to someone higher up in Management so you could show them your original agreement?

Not a fan of Carr. Don't believe the "Where we see things your way" nonsense.

Sorry you got hosed.

I'm really sorry to hear that.I grew up in the area and bought my first brand new car from them in 1973(El Camino) I live up north here now and I guess after 37 years dealers don't operate the same.

they have just gotten worse over the years. Too bad that more people can't vote with their dollars and shop elsewhere. They get a fair amount of allocation and it would be best if they had to choke on it!

I bought my Camaro from them just yesterday. The MSRP was 24800 and they asked 30K!!! I ended up getting it for 300 under MSRP, but it's just ridiculous and insulting that they even tried to offer that to me.

Hey everyone,

I drove by Suburban Chevy in Sandy 2 weekends ago.
They have 6 SS's and 1 used (I believe) V6 on the lot.
If your interested, check'em out.
Oceancrest Chevy also has 1 RJT 2SS/RS w/ Ground Effects and Sunroof on the lot as well.

I got a black LT. I live out in Beaverton, around 185th and Baseline.

BTW, what was the name of the desk manager that changed the deal?
