Any interest in Spec. We trust their clutches, good bite and power holding. Fair prices.

well i know spec will hold the power but drive-ability is a major concern. i have driven a C6 with a spec and it chattered like crazy and made any traffic situation a hassle. but that is my ONLY experience with a spec. and i think that clutch was rated for 1500hp or something ridiculous.

I like RAM because you can custom choose all your clutch parts based on you personal preferences. They definately appear to be ahead of the rest.

Hey what's up man. While my engine is out I'm going to go ahead and upgrade my clutch as well. The stock one isn't hurt but it won't last long. I'm probably going with the RXT.

From what I've read the RXT should do the trick. Light pedal, fairly quiet, and holds a lot of power. I should be making right around what you are when it's done, and about 150 more when the direct port kit goes on later and that's what I'm going with.

wasnt happy with my ram clutch....

i wasnt happy with my ram twin disk clutch.. had a lot of shutter..after 1000 miles, i had to replace it... went with the ZR1 clutch from lingerfelter(20% stronger...rated at 900hp). so far, I couldnt be happier.... no more shutter on soft take offs...here are some pics of my ram after 1000 miles...and new zr1 clutch with billet steel flywheel..

My spec supertwin st is dead quiet and drives really close to stock, with a grabby pedal. No chatter at all. Rated to 1595 ft/lbs, SFI rated, Billet construction, but its pricy. If you've got the cheddar for it, highly recommend! Little more aggressive then the ZR1 setup, but holds significantly more power.

Decisions decisions..... That ZR1 clutch seems to be pretty popular. What does it run?

The LS9R clutch is good too, but about $500-$600 more expensive.

I have had the LPE ZR1 clutch in my car @ 600+ RWHP for about 7,000 miles. Feels better than stock and has never chattered. I was worried at first due to it being as easy or easier than the stock clutch and much easier than the Textralia I had in the car. This clutch is one of the best mods we have done so far.
