What if you need to change order - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Does anyone know how late you can wait to change your order AND get it done without screwing something up?

Wife and I discussed it further and decided to change color (we initally just ordered whatever our first thought was, just to get the order started). We'd like to hit one of the auto shows in an effort to get to see the color we'd like just to make sure. Anyone know anything about this?

There are differing thoughts. Some dealers have said Dec. 2nd is the date the orders are dropped to GM, others have heard Dec. 16th. Either way, even if they are dropped....you can make changes up to the date GM puts your order into production. Some have also said your delaer will be notified four days in advance of this date to give you time to change. But, not sure how accurate this is. BUT, you are risking a lot. The safest bet is to have your car finalized by December 2nd.
