Auto start options
has anyone installed the Advanced Keys auto start option? Seems legit but I'm curious about members experiences. Its about half what other companies are asking for their systems....its not always a savings to get something for less...
http://www.advancedkeys.com/Prod_AK104B.html heres a video of it, seems good. As a side note, all those who "love turning the key" interesting enough, they have a key FOB that simulates the key turning instead of the button it looks like Last edited by Rhyder; 06-05-2013 at 07:53 PM. |

Other than the auto unlock, what's the point?
Our cars have remote start, door unlock/lock and trunk release from the key. and you can unlock and remote start from an iphone with the onstar app. So why mess with a system that already works to have auto unlocks? Doesn't seem worth it to me, but to each their own! If you go for it, I'd be interested to see your review, both short and long term.

it means you never have to pull your keys out of your pocket, when you get close it senses your key fob and auto unlocks, and you dont turn a key to start it you hit a button
