We could probably get involved in this as well, maybe join in with Rodgers Chevrolet if they get on board and set up something for the Dertroit 5th Gen club and their friends!! Should be fun!!

Anyone know anything about being a vendor at one of the stops? I've googled it and not found anything helpful.

My guess is you'd have to contact either Hot Rod magazine or GMPP... Not really sure sorry.

This year is just going to suck, and suck a lot for me and trying to do fun stuff with the camaro. I have 2 huge projects I have implement this year and they are scheduled for June 9th and Aug 4th. I will not even be here in Indy, have to travel up north to Crown Point. Hmmmm The Power Tour and Camaro Fest have been ruled out of my life for the time being. I am praying the Aug 4th date is some how delayed a few weeks. So depressing to just think about it. I am trying to work with my boss for the 6/2 - 6/4 dates to actually do something, but all I get at this time is "we will see when time gets closer". dang it!

I know of 3 Camaros that are definitely doing the long haul, plus the vendor camaros. There were MANY last year. Danny from SoCal, and colemanvoice and I from Atlanta are definitely doing the long haul..........

As much as I hate to miss this opportunity to experience the Power Tour, I'm officially out for this year.
Seems I lost the 'Family Vacation' discussion between me and my wife & daughter.

Instead, we are taking a 10 day tour of Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee.
Planned route is; Outer Banks, Blue Ridge Pkwy, Deals Gap, Gatlinburg.

At least we're taking the Camaro.

Do NOT miss Garretts's Musclecar Museum while in Gatlinburg.

I just wanted to let you know that we have been approached and asked to open up the car collection the Friday before Hot Rod Power tour for people that are coming to town early looking for something to do. The website for our car collection can be found at www.lingenfeltercollection.com.

We are about 15 miles away from the GM Proving Grounds. We will not be charging admission on Friday but will be asking for donations to support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation http://www.bcrfcure.org/. What's impressive about this charity is that they donate .90 out of every dollar goes back to research and awareness. I'm hoping to find a white/pink charity car to have on display at the event. I'm looking!!!!

So if you arrive early to town on that Friday make sure you stop by the car collection and say hello!!!

More details coming soon.

Kristen
