Ok, so here's the latest. Took my car out to the store and it started to rain. Lo and behold, I have two really saturated back foot wells. So now what do I do? What kind of wiring goes under the carpet in the rear foot wells? Besides the mildew, what problems should I expect now????

Sorry to hear - sounds like it may be a water bag issue. Others here with actual experience can probably inform you better than I could.

On my first car the top was replaced and at first was an ok job. But alas the trim fell out of the rear window part of the top and rear window body trim fell off. Well it sat outside at the dealership for two weeks and it rained. Brought the car home to put in storage as it still wasn't fixed as parts never came in. The rear floor was soaked. Made the dealer aware of it and they would check it out come spring time. Well I got my buyback approved so it went back to the dealership in February up here in Minnesota. The top installer never got the tubes from the bag pushed back in correctly. That would be the first thing I would check. Then the bag for holes.

I'm leery about the class action suit because I don't think it will end the way we hope it will. I guess I have to continue to escalate. Any suggestions on who I can conact there? This is starting to really suck.
Ruebernard, what broke that you had to pay the dealer $500 to fix?

My car ran out of B2B warranty 3/31/2014, so they said I would have to pay something towards the repair...even though this problem has been an ongoing issue. The part they ordered was called a "cover kit" which is essentially a new canvas top.

Thanks. I really do love this car but I'm getting the feeling this top thing isn't over yet.

I have received my packet via email. I would try again and try this email address. She is the one who is on the suit initially.

Uh oh...my Camaro was stolen and I'm just about to replace it. I *was* eyeing a convertible at the dealership, but now I'm concerned, based on what I'm reading here. Do you guys think I should buy it or get a hard top? it's a 2011 2SS with 28k miles

I wouldn't have my camaro any other way. It just feels and looks like a different car with the top down. Every car has a quirk, if a rub mark turns into a hole I will patch it. Nobody would see it, the tops always down
