The fact that you are here...are dreaming...are wanting to learn, and actually have a passion for cars, to me, says a lot about a person. I remember how it was back then...and boy, you are ON THE RIGHT TRACK!
I sure hope life takes you down the right path and you are able to make your dreams come true. Just stick with it... put away your pennies, stay away from drugs and the "cool kids" that do'em, study in school, do the RIGHT thing, and WORK HARD. Good people are rewarded...that's for sure. Good luck, bro. I wish you well. |

Wow sad
Wow that was a rediculously stupid response, this kid posts a thread and you have to give him a crappy comment because he's young. He's dreaming big but yet so am I. And also he probubly has a bike already. Let him work for it and hopefully he will get it. Again best of luck

When I was 13 there were no internets..at least not for normal people. I would say save some money. Buy a nice 4th gen in a few years and then save again for a 5th gen. By then 6th gens will be out (hopefully).

Keep it up. My 13 year old daughter is a Mustang fanatic (sorry, not sure where she got that from.....), and my 9 year old son can rattle off just about every musclecar or sport car he sees coming down the road. His dream car is a ZR1, blue with orange stripes for his Chicago Bears. Gotta love it when kids know what they want!

Sounds like you have the right idea, just stay away from drugs, and fords (haha, jk, please don't get offended if you like fords) and work hard and you will have your dream car one day.
After working very hard for it you will not only develop a good work ethic, but you will really understand and appreciate your car and your hard work a lot more, and that is a valuable lesson for life. I busted my behind for years, starting out from just a toolbox I could carry around with me so I could change brake pads for my neighbors and friends, and now I have a business building and working on some of the coolest cars I have ever seen. It can and will happen if you are willing to work hard. Good luck to you. |

You seem a lot like me when i was your age, wasnt too long ago. Im 16 now and im pushing for a joint camaro purchase with my dad next year. Hes not a big car guy, but understands that its something i really care about. He had two camaros (67, 77 Z28) when he was young, so i always tell him that i deserve the same. =D
