Dynamat for my 1LE trunk today

Well, not dynamat brand but I used Stinger Roadkill and Rattletrap Xtreme to do the trunk.

Took 4 hours with breaks talking to neighbors about the car.
The wheel wells and getting into the sides was the hardest part. Lots of up and down cutting pieces.

Came out good IMHO. My back is going to hurt tomorrow.

Next step in the upgrade is a ******** enclosure for my JL Audio 12 sub, JL 700/5 amp and FARK wiring.

I'll see how it sounds then but I have a bad feeling I will be onto the doors next with JL audio 6.5's and more dynamatting for the door.

Then the rear deck project, eight 6.5 JL's or 6x9 JL's and more dynamatting for the back seat area.

Anyone have any advise on what I am going to do let me know. I kinda tough to criticism.

Here is a side shot of the trunk. Also a nice surprise back there, the build sticker showing everything in the car. Of course the flash took out the 1LE code.

You can see the sticker in the first pic at the bottom middle of the shot.

nice job! question, is the 700/5 a direct replacement for the stock amp with the boston acoustics system, so all speakers will work?

******** sells a mounting board for the amp that goes where the stock amp fits. The JL700/5 fits on the board so it will look stock, you also need the FARK wire kit sold by ******** and a wire kit to power the amp. Heavy gauge power wire is needed, the stock power feeds will not work..

Did you also fat mat cover that goes over the battery/tire compartment? I went ahead and did that to mine. Not sure if it makes a difference but figured couldn't hurt.

Not I didn't do that. I still have to do the inside of the car, if I have anything leftover I might.
