Kadhafi and gaz price in Montreal

Kadhafi (nish) civil war just brought the gaz price to 1,33.4$ a liter, or $5.05 US Gallon. (taxes included) in the Montreal, Quebec area.

Few days ago the price was 1,13.9$ or $4.31 US Gallon, a .74 cents increase....Wow Goverments will gladely take those new taxes revenues and all of that caused by a Maniac.

The bright side is if these regimes get overthrown we may be able to have better business relations with these countries. This could lead to a better flow of oil. This could lead to a pricing system based on supply and demand not fear.

Or it could mean an even more anti-western government gets put in place and supplies dry up and prices go through the roof.

Did anyone catch what the rumors that he was shot did to the price of oil? It tumbled big time.

http://www.cnbc.com/id/41747049

Maybe if the price spikes over $100 again, our special forces should...ahem...correct the situation.

Why wait? Canada's got a guy that could get him from a couple kilometers away haha

EDIT: check that we've got a couple haha

Afghanistan

Modern advances in technology, coupled with the extreme long ranges involved in combat across the mountainous regions of Afghanistan post-9/11 led to exponential increases in long distance sniper kills. In March 2002, Hathcock's 1967 shot was bested by Canadian Master Corporal Aaron Perry who successfully engaged an insurgent at 2,310- meters with a McMillan Tac-50 12.7mm rifle. Perry's new benchmark was itself bested inside the same month by Corporal Robert Furlong, from the 3rd Battalion of Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI). Using another McMillan Tac-50 Furlong engaged an insurgent at 2,430 meters.

Best way to combat high oil prices is to hedge yourself and buy the Oil etf OIH or XOM.

I'm thinking this is a more likely scenario.

Canada has enough oil, on its own, to meet America's import needs for decades, if not a century. You don't need Libya
