Mike called to say the electrician is back & the gutter installers are there too. All the crews have really loved our cars. The framers said they were surprised they were able to get any work done because they could not stop looking at our cars. They really got a kick out of me taking pics & posting on C5. I showed them the post & one guy said "Wait until Monday. I'll be looking good for pics on Monday". LOL I didn't tell him I would not be home in time for pics on that Monday; didn't want to burst his bubble. Not sure I will be home before dark again today. It depends on if my late clients show up or not. One more day of work this week 'cause Ruby gets her windows tinted on Friday.

Its looking great. You have motivated me to try and work on mine this year. I have an attached garage that just has drywall and one coat of tape on it. I think this may be the year to finish the drywall and paint it.

I have a small collection of old license plates and a few metal signs that I could hang. Gotta wait another month or so still too cold here to mud the walls.

I just made it home as the sun was setting to snap a quick shot. We now have gutters & the electrical work will continue tomorrow. Who knew wiring a garage would take almost as long as building it did?

Funny... Yes, I've always wanted a nice garage like that. A lot of room to properly store all the right tools and detailing items. The doorways seem nice and wide too. In Northern VA I swear all the garage doors were built just to barely fit cars in. No room for a good workbench... I don't get it.

It was fun going through this thread and watching the progress. Thanks for posting all the pics.

Thanks, we are already rather fond of it too. I suspect that will get worse, possibly into obsessive territory for my husband. LOL

Really nice Ruby! My supposedly two car garage just barely fits the Camaro. My truck is just too long. No matter how close to the wall I get it still sticks out about a foot. When we move I am deffinitely test fitting the garage this time.

Let there be light!! ..................and lots of electrical outlets. And yes, now my husband is officially obsessed. He took his little Ipod speaker and one of the new gravity chairs we bought out to the newly electrified garage...............and stayed, and stayed and stayed. He finally came in & got in the shower declaring that the acoustics in the garage are fantastic & he can't wait to move his old stereo out there. My obsession at this point is taking pics of it..........so here are a few more.

And here is a WalMart print of the pics I will use to make the larger collage I will make for the garage. This one will go to my office at some point.

Really coming along nicely. Yeah, I tend to spend most of my time in the garage as well.
