Wow, is all that necessary in a 2012? I keep hearing that the 2012 is exactly the same as a 2013 just not the mylink hardware.

its not, if you trace out the wires the new 2013 books are not right, lots of wires to add, more coming, hard part is finding some of the radio cables that will need to me added.

I agree, the books have many errors. That's why i had to get 2013 harness and trace and split every wire

I'm just thinking I should start a fund for a road trip to get this and other mods installed.

I want this and HUD.

Also want power passenger seat and footwells - though those seem to be in a comfortable DIY range.

I think this will be out of my league as well. Been holding off on the back up camera mod just in case the my link was the answer.....gonna forget about the my link and order the back up camera mod.
