Headers

Which headers are better (more power) long tubes or shorties?

Long tubes will be much more powerful. My knowledge is limited in this area, but I do know a popular brand to go with are the BBK long tubes - give maybe 20 HP gained but will need a tune to get rid of the check engine light? Check out YouTube, they have some mean sounding videos on there!

This is a beaten question. Had you simply googled it, you'd have found your answer faster than waiting on someone to post it.

ahhh, relax it appears he's pretty new to the forum with only 34 posts........OP go look in the bolt-on section (guess it was moved here) of the forum and there will be a lot of information on headers for you to make a choice. Apex Chase has a good thread on headers that's pretty informational.

in a nut shell.....for the most bang for your buck go with long tubes.....BUT you will also have to make a change to either high flow cats or run no cats at all and a tune to get the full gains from the headers plus to set the shift points and fuel trims right......
