Well this sux cuz I'm about 100 yards from the track and this truck broke down on the interchange. So I'm stuck.

Last night was a little better. I hate this LPE clutch with a passion! I'll say so far LPE products have been the worst things I've installed on this car! I can't be this terrible shifting gears when I next to never missed shifts with the stock clutch. With the LPE one I miss a shift more than 50% of my runs. I'm so frustrated I probably would've had a personal best but I miss 3rd gear shift. My previous best in the 1/8 was 7.590 and I did a 7.616 while missing a shift. Oh well, if the tranny isn't shot by now from missing shifts I want to throw this POS clutch in the trash. What a waste of a few grand plus install. Here is my best run.

I talked to Mike last night and we'll drop the tranny. He doesn't want to change clutches, but he said if your not happy then that's what matters. Customer has to be happy. The other one we looked into was the RPS carbon/carbon. It is difficult to get into 1st gear now with the car running. With the car off it moves through the gears smooth. Car on clutch in and it's a different story.

Do you think the cluth is getting roasted or causing the trans difficulty to go into first, or is the tranny going out on you?

Maybe the scyncros are going away. What about rpm transmissions? 6L80?

I have read shit on here and said that 1st and 2nd syncros are backwards. I'm sure they aren't but I know they suck.

My bad didn't realize it was a auto tranny. I always read about that tranny but never paid attention to it being auto

Yeah that auto is great, but I enjoy rowing through the gears on a manual too much to ever switch either.
