Side Mirror Removal - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just wondering if anyone has removed the Side mirrors on thier Camaro ...I am guessing I have to take the inner Door Panal off to get at the Bolts...

I am taking my car out to Huntington Beach and Chip Foose, Mitch Lanzini are going to repaint/Foose it out ....

Should look awesome after Chip Foose has had his hands on it, can't wait to see the outcome. I have to ask though, why are you removing the mirrors? Won't those get painted along with the rest of the car or are you doing something different as far as the mirrors go?

My car is Inferno Orange right now but we are adding Black with it ....If you look at your Mirror`s it pretty hard to get the Spray gun in behind the mirror and Side window in order to get Paint on all sides ...So to get the best Results its best to pull the Mirror`s off and paint Seperatly ....

I met up with my Buddy Chip back in December up in North Dakota and we pulled in a Inferno Orange Camaro and threw down some Tape....So I have a real good idea what his plans are ...But you will just have to see the outcome when I get back and post picture`s...I am pretty sure mine will be one of a kind..

Foose is an awesome car designer, but some of his stuff is pretty... how should i say this?... ugly. some of the stuff ive seen on overhaulin are very odd, but all in all, hes awesome and thats all there is to it. cant wait to see the car. btw, how much is that gonna cost?

awesome ! cant wait to see it , tell chip i said hello. btw... you dont have to pull the door panels , we do it all the time to paint the mirrors black as we do with all of our Revolution super cars. pm me and ill talk you through it over the phone.
