Even though I bought an "on the ground" car from another dealership and cancelled my order with Classic, I have to admit, Eric is a great salesman. I changed my order (options) about 3 times and he never complained. If only they had more allocations and not such a huge waiting list (due to their popularity) I surely would have bought my car from them!

In addition, it was a breeze getting my $500 deposit back from them. No hassles whatsoever.

ORDERED CAMARO

I HAVE A QUESTIONS FOR YOU GUYS. MY SALESMAN CALLED ME TODAY TO NOTIFY ME THAT MY ORDERED HAD BEEN PICKED UP. HE ALSO MENTIONED SOMETHING ABOUT BACKUP SENSORS AND THAT IT COULD RAISE THE PRICE $400 MORE BUT HE NEEDED TO CHECK ON THAT. WHATS THE LATEST ON THIS.

Yep, if you ordered a 2SS or a 2LT you're gonna have to pony up the extra money for the back-up sensors. The increase in price should only be $295 not $400.

It's clear from the volume of positive posts that Classic doesn't need me to defend them, but I would like to chime in anyway. Classic is outstanding in every way. I worked with Toby, and he is the consummate professional. He patiently answered every call and email like I was his only customer. Even after the purchase, he has been great.

I ordered mine from Classic in Sugarland 8/3/09. I emailed them to check on it this morning and to ask for VIN#. I received word that it left Canada for a West Texas distribution site on the train 10/6 or 10/7. Once I checked the VIN# I noticed the sunroof was not on the sticker. They (Classic) failed to order the sunroof even though it is clearly on my order form. They gave me two options for a sunroof to be installed in Houston. One like the factory and one that retracts inside the roof. They claim the company they'll use is the same one that installs at the factory (not sure how that works but that is what I was told). I am leary of this!
Any thoughts?

Walk away from it...it's not worth it. Make them order what you want. If you want to try another dealership in Houston, go talk to Craig Kabzinski over at Mac Haik Chevrolet. They've got like 50 allocations this month!

I'm sure this was posted earlier, but I'm in a hurry, sorry.

Does anyone have the contact info/reference for Classic Chevy dealer? I'm trying to find a = or < MSRP dealer than can get an order moving quickly.

Thanks
