Heat soak is common to the entire LS range

I wonder if they will ever come out with the hide-away headlamps like the 67-69 Camaro's, now that would be cool !!!

Sub frame and radius bushings maybe? A good place to start anyway. I know that you have outfitted a bunch of GM specialty cars, maybe they already have your knowledge at their fingertips.

the thing is this. people that know cars will immediately be able to spot a Z28 over the rest of the 5th gens. Same with the GT500. Just like 99% of the population can see a ZR1 and their thought will be their goes another corvette.

I forget what FbodFather said, but hideaways are a no-go these days.

If we are to stay cutting edge I have to move to the latest and greatest from GM.

This is really bothering me because I love my current Camaro. Every sneak release picture of the car that doesn't exist is like a poke in the side saying, sell your car and get the car that doesn't exist...
I see what you're saying and when the time is right you will know what to do. But something to think about. I wouldn't specifically opt for a 1.9L blower on these LS3 engines, which is pretty much what an LSA is, because of heat and possible IAT issues on long, hot track days.

As another member suggested, what about getting a top mount blower and a hood with vents?

if the z28 going to be like TF2 bumble bee maybe just maybe TF3 bumble bee will be a hint towards a twin turbo v6 next year and that might make the SS get another engine (because wasn't Leno's camaro going on 400hp?)

if u are a corvette guy, which i was for 5 years and 2 vettes (06 base, and a 07 Z06) i saw some more corvette creeping in here, dual exhaust for once, possibly with NPP option with butterfly valves in 2 most inboard tips. Also, the price point of Z will be in the 50s or 60s, i think that is the biggest question. I love the motor, personally i loved my LS7, it was all torque, and never disappointed me. I think the Z28 will be everything many people are doing now to bump up the power and improve the handling. i think function hood scoops for downforce or cooling would be great as so much is cosmetic. Also there is a splitter down below, ala ZR1 perhaps. i like the higher fogs, think moving them to closer to center as in the 60s models would look great, maybe not as productive for function. nice to see they kept the sunroof, but that may be just the mule, (using a SS) i also love the idea of a TT V6, since GM and ford are really the 2 manufactors that offer V8 SC cars, other than the really expensive stuff. i bought a SS knowing the Z28 would be out late next year or 2012. Also pricepoint put me out...but for 50s it would be a steal, very Z06-like...i never moded mine, it just everything i needed. i got the camaro for a change of scenery, but i look forward to more spy shots. Also i went thru all this with the ZR1 "blue devil" project it was fun to watch and see become production. in 2 years we could see a full camaro line of base, SS, verts (SS and RS) and Z28. There was a lot of debates about using the LS7 in other GM halos, silervado SS at one time...but i think the LSA must be more cost effective than an LS7, and may be easier to mass produce LSA vice the LS7, as Z06 production has really dropped as vette sales are really down right now.
i would like to know more about the brake/roter setups, suspension parts, etc...again i think it will ride more like Z06, and be what i think what a lot of people want track version of the CTS-V, i would think it would cheaper than the V, where the caddy will still appeal to those whose want caddy comfort with the power..fun to watch and see. we are only 2 years into production, just barely at that.. cant wait to see what happens. the SS was made to compete with the mustang GT, where the Z28 is aiming at the GT500, but be an option to vette people who cant afford a Z06 which is now priced at mid 80s sticker, (really most are discounted into the 60s)
