Questions about exhaust and headers.

Alright, so I'm fixing to buy Borla's full ATAK catback exhaust, but I have some questions before I do.

Ok, I also plan on getting Borla's LT's later on, but I don't know if I can have the LT's and the full catback at the same time? Is that possible? Or what would be my best route? I'm trying to get the best sound and performance out of my car, and I'm trying to just stick to Borla.

I'm pretty much a noob at this, so your help would be great thanks

yes you can.

Exhaust systems are made up of these parts.

Headers (exhaust manifold)
Mid pipes (where cats are located)
Exhaust piping
Mufflers

Cat-backs are the piping and mufflers combined into a system that replaces from the Cats, back to the mufflers. this is where the term "Cat-back" comes in.

Headers and cats, and catback systems are the two packages that most people buy, Therefore you can have both. =)

Yes you can. I would recommend something like Kooks however. They have a few more features, and you can run cats later if you want. Feel free to contact me if you have questions or want to discuss more.

Couldn't agree more. I know a lot of times customers like keeping everything one brand but that isn't always best.

If you are going with LT you really need to get the tune. There isn't much point in doing it if you don't.

The other option is to put Kooks long tube headers with high flow cats and center section on your Camaro and connect it to the stock mufflers, get a tune and see how that works for you. The stock mufflers flow very well. If you decide you need more then go with the Borla system of your choice from the axle back. No tuning needed when adding a catback or axle back system.

Kooks headers make the power.

Borla Atak makes the Muscle Car ound

I agree I'd do headers before the exhaust. Doesn't sound to bad flowing our of the stock exhaust.

The tune will quiet it down slightly. I'd like to hear the final product. I want to see if the ATAK drones as bad as everyone says it does.

Where in NorCal are you?
