FL Camarovan to C5F in TX.

I know right now there is at least 8 cars going from a couple groups including myself. Let's get a Camarovan together and do it right. Looks like most of us also seem to be booked at the Baymont as well. I'm booked the 1st through the 4th.

Who is going? What day do you plan to leave and where from? We can easily find meet spots somewhere along 75 95 and I-10 for everyone.

Update. I personally have had to cancel this trip. Some emergency medical issues, surgery and time off work this year forced me to choose a vacation to drop. This one didn't make the cut :(

As of right now I plan on going and am booked at the Baymont for the 1st to the morning of the 4th. Not quite sure if I will be driving my Camaro or towing it there either.

I personally would like to leave as early as possible on that Thursday but as I guessed it that week in May is exam week at FSU and if I have a exam on either Thursday or Friday my plans will be changing unless my professor lets me take them early.

Glad to see you are also going Dave! Hopefully we can get a large contingent from the Tri-County Camaro Club

We are also booked at the Baymont. We stayed there a few nights a couple years ago and we're happy to return. (This trip will be more fun than the last and even more fun if Tim brings the SWAMPJUICE!)

Pam and I will be going from the Fort Myers area. Mapquest tells me the trip will be a little over 1100 miles and take law abiding citizens about 17 hours (that doesn't take into consideration potty, food and gas breaks).

I used to make trips like that in one day. But as I grow older (and hopefully wiser) I don't relish that anymore, especially if there's no need to hurry. We are thinking of leaving here early morning on Wednesday, 30 April, spend the night somewhere between Biloxi and the Louisiana border and arrive fresh in Baytown early on Thursday afternoon.

Biloxi is a good town to stop in and get your gambling fix. Plus cafe new Orleans has the best Cajun cat fish I've ever had and the shed is also there as well a raising canes. Going tdy for three months helped Me put some weight on a few years ago

May be my husband and I could meet up with a group at a certain location once you decide where you will be stopping. We live in Macon,Ga and we will be leaving out early Thursday morning for the entire event. We are staying at the LaQuinta.
