How long does your car stay with the dealer after it gets there?

Whenever your camaro FINALLY arrives at the dealership you ordered from, does the dealer have to do anything with it, such as checking over the car? Or do you get to drive it straight home?

just realized I probably should have put "car" instead of "order" in the title, dangit. too late to change. sorry if this was misleading.

They prep, wash, check fluids etc. My dealer says he can flip a car the same day it comes in.

irpq,
How do you like that Black Beast so far? I changed my mind and ordered the Rally Yellow instead.

depends on how many they have in line to get ready, they clean it and check it for any major flaws. Depends on the time of day its usually only a day or so

They don't HAVE to clean it but normally they will. The only thing they HAVE to do is the PDI (post delivery inspection). That is basically a test drive by the tech to make sure it's all in working order.

I plan on asking them to leave EVERYTHING on the car and not to wash it. I want to unwrap it myself

One hour and thirty-five minutes from start to finish. Drove it home still in the "wrapper".

They need time to stick thier dealer badges all over it.
and also they need to drill holes in front bumber to put on that terrible lisence plate holder in front.
Please, dont let them drill the bumper. get a hide away plate holder.....
I order 2 retractables one for new and one for my 68 rs...

I let the dealer check things out and remove the wrappings only from the outside and I drove it home in 2 1/2 hours from the time it came in. They wanted to keep it. NO WAY!~
