Very creative, not my style, but I appreciate the work and artistry it took to create it.

And to those that were mentioning the fact that Sharpies come off with alcohol, they make an Industrial version. We use those here in the labs at work and they are chemical and solvent resistant, but only in black. They don't come off without some serious effort.

Mine too, someone decide that my driver door handle would look better with a black "pinstripe" and I only had the car for 2 months

The far away pics look pretty nice, but up close it looks cheap. Of course, the art is fantastic, but it still looks like a marker on an expensive car. I can't get into that at all...

If you're good enough, you can do this with paint. The art can be done with any tool as long as the artist is proficient with it.

It could even be done in vinyl. And mass produced if someone had the know-how to do such a thing... Just sayin.

Have a friend back home He has an STi and did this to his hood. I think that it looks good, however on this one it looks out of place. Good work on the art, but I think it would be better if they would have just done the whole hood and nothing else.

While it isn't something that I would put on my car, I have to appreciate the quality of the artwork. Especially that it was done by hand with sharpie markers.

Sounds to me like he did it the "right" way. Clear coated over it so it should last. Otherwise I would imagine that the ink would rub right off.
