Hold off and sell locally on Craigslist 2 weeksish before Christmas. Thats what I'm doing with my Day one edition...
Should be able to get way more than +$100. |

I ordered a PS4 and XBOX One and plan on doing the same. Not sure on timing for best sale though

I'm not looking to make a ton of money, especially off people from c5, but it looks like ebay is the way to go. just searched 30 seconds ago and the cheapest one I found was 580.00
All I have to do is change the shipping address of the pre-order from Amazon and you'll receive the item on launch day (Which is Friday). |

FYI both Sony and Microsoft have indicated that there will be plenty of stock during the holidays this isn't 2006,2007 where profits were higher for resellers. I would definitely take the ebay route if your trying to make a quick buck don't hold out until the holidays.

I'm not planning on holding out until the holidays. If the xbox doesn't sell, I may just keep it and play it. I'm planning on buying one next year at some point.

I've been selling it since last friday. I'm not looking to rip anyone off too bad, so long as the transfer is easy. I ended up cancelling my ps4 order, and 15 minutes later I had 3 people pm me with cash in hand. Luckily I know someone else who was selling theirs and introduced them.

As I agree things have changed since release of the older systems. stock was purchased when available so wait time was a regular thing BUT the day one edition is sold out.
Sure they will be for sale for the next few weeks but I think with the "limited production" kids will cry for it. Specially when the Xbox has "day one" on the console. People love difficult stuff to obtain.
