Pedders Xa coilover questions help
I've search so don't give me the search button, anyway I'm confused in the directions of where I measurement on the coilover to get my 1.5 ride height. I tighten the seats to the coil is snug, mounted them on the car do I adjust with no wheels on or do install wheels and take them of an on until I get my right height I want? I on the front as of now.

Thanks Jaysin, I did see you post on adjusting, I just wasn't sure on how to get my drop of 2 inches front and 1.5 in back but you and Seddon have giving me enough info to figure it out.
Thanks Clay |

The way I did it was just guess at where to put the collars when I initially installed mine. Then put the wheels on and set the car back on the ground and looked at how much it needed to go up or down. Then just pulled the wheels back off and made the adjustments. This was on KW V1's but its the same concept for your "peddlers."

Seddon gave me his measurements between the upper and lower locknuts.
Anyway now I trying to figure out why I have a gap on the upper strut covers. I installed it with the cup down (as in the pic below) and it hits the washer below, so the top cover does not sit down all the way. If I turn them over they fit. |

Remember that the instructions I gave you were for a G8. I haven't dug into the Camaro yet.

Ok then in the first pic I've torque this nut down.
Then the top cover came stock like this but there is a small gap now underneath it. But It fits fine if I turn the cap over, am I missing something because in the directions it does not take about the cap being turn over. TIA |

You need to have the upper plate so the center section is down. That is how GM intended it to be.
