latest best deal for XM service?

The last I heard, the best deal that you could request was $77/year. Has anyone signed with Sirius XM lately?

I havent heard that one. I have gotten several emails about the $25 for 6 month then $14/month after. Works out to about $110 for a year.

That's the "deal" I currently have. What I did was called them up and asked for it.

Use the $25 for 6 months and stop the service. They will send you again another one. Pay for a service that always cuts out in the middle of a song? My regular FM plays better. When they can fix that the music doesn't cut out, maybe the time when i renew.

I wholeheartedly support this statement. I have a year free with my 2012 2ss. Unless the reception problem goes away - doubtful - me no pay for service

In some thread I saw a long time ago it was stated the xms' satellites are too low in the sky to be effective somewhere and to use a sirrius antennae. Maybe so, but I already have an antennae - shark fin - and am not going to add another one.

I took a 300 mile ride yesterday and it was all interstate, so never under tree cover. The freaking XM cut out at least 50 times. This is my first experience with satellite radio, but let me tell you..... It's not living up to what I had dreamed it would be. The service leaves a lot to be desired. I like the station selection and menus, but the in and out service is just terrible and completely unacceptable.

77 dollar. Offer here, just tell them you want to drop service because of the cost. They drop the price right down. Should be at that price without having to play this I am leaving game.

I bought an ITouch just for the Camaro. I created a playlist with all rock songs, and another with soft jazz. I just use the shuffle function.

I did not renew when my free trial ran out in the fall as I store the car for the winter. Got my car out a couple weeks ago, and XM still works. I agree, the reception is not as good as I expect it to be, but I have high expectations. I should probably call and either subscribe or cancel it (again) before I end up with a huge bill.

UPDATE: shortly after I posted this, my XM quit working as in they turned it off, cool! I have recieved numerous $25/6mos offers in the mail, but haven't renewed it.
