You know the front ends of the '14's are starting to really look nice. But the rear still doesn't do anything for me. I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap but I could see someday swapping out the front end on my '13 with the front on the '14. It wouldn't be at the top of my to do list but I could see it possibly happening someday. I'm sure it would require a hood swap as well but that would all need to be considered as part of the project.

I think I'll be ordering the ZL1 sides to go with my 1LE.

I think it will "fit" but the cowl lines wouldn't line up. The cowl on the 14's is wider at the nose as well as at the rear. So if you want it to look like it should you would need to do a full Bumper/Hood conversion.

I'm not so sure about that. Look carefully at how the new '14 tail lights wrap around the sides of the rear quarter panels. That might create an interesting fit up with the rear quarter panels. So if you swap a 10-13 rear onto a '14 there might be some empty cutouts where the '14 lights would have gone. And visa versa. If you tried to swap a '14 rear onto a '10-13 there might not be cutouts on the rear quarter panels that would be needed for the '14 tail lights. I guess it will be hard to tell until you can really check everything out in person to see what parts changed and what parts didn't.

Should just be lights and a bumper.

From what I'm seeing in other threads on the forum there's a high probability that wiring harnesses and plug connections have changed as well.
I looked closer at one of the comparison pics posted earlier and it looks like maybe the rear quarter panels would not have changed. But it is known that the major parts that would be required for this swap would be the rear bumper, new rear deck lid, spoiler, rear diffuser, and tail lights obviously. Yet to be known is if there would need to be any wiring harness adpaters and such. I guess by the end of the summer there should be enough '14s out there that I'm sure someone will have ripped into one enough to show what really is different.

In the Shno thread we have an ex GM engineer we ask questions of from time to time (on things he's able to discuss). He said in a refresh the metal is usually always left alone as it is too expensive to alter for only a refresh.

I like the Z/28 grill more than the RS version and I would take a 1SS but I really must have the color HUD and console gauges.

Didn't know Recaro seats could be added to the build sheet? You may want to double check your order, bud. Last thing I heard, early production 1LEs were not going to come with them.

That car would look good in black so you don't see how high the diffuser comes up the rear facia. Add a set of aftermarket tinted tails and it'd be a good looking car.
