So I have been a long time reader of the fourm, great fourm, great info read at least once a day. Well last sunday I Placed my order for my new toy went and orderd 2SS/RS, VR, blk stripes. The dealer said it should take about 3 months untill I get my beast. I cant wait to break it in and do some longtubes, and go on a cruise.

What dealership did you order your Camaro at?

I got burned by a dealership in Northen California.

You sound like me, I oreered mine in oct. 2008, and that's all I could think about for the next ten months, but it was well worth the wait. I ordered a 2SS/RS VR, I put on my own strips.[IMG]

Do some research BEFORE you ask a bunch of questions. There is a ton of information here, just need to look for it.

I was fortunate. Since it's cold here there are many SS's on the lots. Although my dealer didn't have the model I wanted, it was sitting on another dealer's lot 40 miles away.

Anyway, in 1 day I was able to get exactly what I've been dreaming about.
