This is my area of expertise and I think Phadts racing needs to bring that car to the LSX shootout and repeat those 60fts . The track should be prepped as good as it gets. If they let me,I might run some fun passes . My chevelle is a heavy street car that weighs 3500lbs and consistently runs mid 1 tens 60ft. Not trying to side with anybody. After they do some more testing, Phadt will see where they are at.

Pfadt,

Your argument that some how all the other track timing lights worked
so how could the 60' light be screwed up? That's because all the beams reference the start beam. Nothing else references the 60' beam. Just fyi.

After racing for over 25 years I can tell you that 60 clocks have and do screw up. My S/G 240 cuts 1.28 60' times and runs 9.10's in the 1/4. I have a time slip showing a 1.01 60 and only running 9.23 My S/St 77 Camaro has 1.40 60 times and runs 10.20's in the 1/4 and I have a time slip showing it going 1.20 in the 60. No way either of them are correct. My L99 2010 Camaro runs 12.50's and has consistent 1.93 - 1.95 60 times. You can see it on page 36 of the Sept 3, 2010 National dragster
Sorry but there is no way he had a 1.46 60 time.

Look at that time slip again and compare it with your other slips.
Everything on that slip is off. Going by the 1/8th & 1000ft times he should have been on a mid to low 11 sec pass. 1320 & MPH is probably correct but the rest is extremely questionable.

There's a difference between good faith and intent. I don't think it was anyone's intent to post up false information. I think they put up the info in good faith believing the data provided by a VERY expensive and calibrated machine was correct....and btw, the data posted STILL has not been PROVED FALSE. Yes, there could have been problems....and most likely it didn't go that short. But, if it did...everyone here would be eatin' words...

FYI...................
