Cool thread, glad to see higher mileage cars with little to no issues. I change my oil with full synthetic Mobil1 every 5k religiously. Plan on putting A LOT of miles on this car and will start racking them up quickly now that Im changing jobs and giving up my company vehicle. Owe more on the car than what its worth (big surprise!) so Im going to ride the shit out of it for as long as possible.

Take extremely good care of it, no dings or blemishes. Paint and interior are mint.

Going by people that have actually posted on this thread... 166k is the record. Selfishly happy that its on a V6 too.

Can anyone beat 166k?

which Mobile 1 do you use? they have a bunch of varieties. I am almost to the cars' 2nd oil change. I used to be religious to Royal Purple, but I learned at 100k, it was sludging up my last V8. I always used K&N filter as well.

Mobil1 5w30 Full Synthetic. I believe there is a "Super Synthetic" as well but no clue if there is a difference or just a marketing ploy.

I see an advanced synthetic. according to MDS info, that one is GM approved for Corvettes! the FS is dexos1 approved as well.

Mine's a 2011 - just turned 109,000. The only problem I've had that was mechanical was both catalytic converters failed at about 76k miles. Luckily the manufacturer warranties them until 80,000 so I didn't pay a penny out of pocket.

Otherwise, I did have to replace the battery last week. But 6 years on the original battery - not bad.

There's an O'Reilly auto parts near my house so that's where I usually go to get stuff. They only had one type of battery in stock - a SuperStart Platinum which cost $193 plus an $18 core charge which I got back once I took in the old battery.

I just put in my zip code and the price for that same battery is showing at $212.99 - which is even higher than what I paid for it!
