Help, no start with fresh engine!

Not a 5th gen but a 99 trans am ls1 build. We are getting no spark, we had a po335 crank sensor malfunction. Replaced wires, plug and new and old sensor. The po335 is gone but still no spark! We have 12 volts at the ignition wire for the coil packs but voltage drops to 8 wile cranking.

The fuel line is full and the pump is working but we definitely don't have ignition even with power to it, is the voltage drop causing this? We even tried another computer.

Went through all of it again! Still nothing, power at the coil but won't even try to fire. Still no codes but check engine light still on and there is fuel pressure in the lines. This is unreal!!!

Does the new engine have the correct 24x reluctor wheel and 2x cam sensor gear?
We see a lot of swaps with those wrong parts nowadays.

Yes it's the factory ls1 parts. I still have not figured this out!! No pulse at the injector and no spark. But still no codes, I have checked all connections and grounds.

With the scanner hooked up, is it showing the rpm while cranking? Should be around 250ish RPMs.

If the scanner shows the 0 RPMs cranking, you have a problem with the crank sensor/ reluctor/ signal wire.

If the scanner shows ~250 RPMs cranking, you have a problem with the low side driver circuits for your coils/injectors. (The ECM isn't grounding the circuits for some reason, loose ground etc.)
